Websites & Blogs found/enjoyed in 2010

1. The Selvedge Yard
A blog of gentlemen pursuits. Unique content, with great research behind it. The Selvedge Yard is nice foil to the litany of bs ‘authentic craft’ mens fashion.

2. The Jalopy Journal
Because my love for historic cars and non-street racing has no bottom.

3. Who’s Hot or Not
Continually posting he most amazing collections of historic & contemporary photography.

4. Cultivate Modesty
Another, eclectic photo blog. The juxtaposition of diverse image collections paired with the sparten (read: no links/posts or write-ups) layout give a sense of grandeur and beauty.

5. Remodelista
Everyone wants to make a house a home.

6. eVolo Architecture
A frequently updated look into the world of progressive architecture. Get you Zaha Hadid fix here.

7. The Millions
A one stop shop for all things related to books, culture and the arts. Personally I enjoy the book reviews. They are spot on and offer a perspective not found in the NYT Book Review.

8. The Harvard Business Review
While it may sound dry, this site is full of insight. Offering a unique perspective on staying focused and purpose-driven in todays market.

9. The Distracted Globe
Film reviews & commentary by a screenwriter living in LA. Entertaining as well as painstakingly researched.
